The Blue Salmons colour is silver bluish green in appearance along the back and flanks this progresses to a shiny silver white belly area. The Blue salmon differs from the King Salmon having shorter thread like filaments and only up to four which are located below the pectoral fins. A good light tackle target and at times there are big schools along Weipa’s beaches.
